Is a One-On-One Marriage Weekend Right For You?
What does the schedule look like for the weekend?
Day 01: Thursday
Our time begins at 3:00pm (Pacific Time) with a meet-and-greet hosted with drinks and horderves. Our first session starts at 4:00pm followed by dinner at 6:00pm and we end the night with a fireside chat and chef-prepared desert.
Day 02: Friday
Couples seek their own breakfast and lunch at one of the resort’s eateries and enjoy free time (pool, spa, fitness center, etc.) until coaching session #02 at 3:30pm-5:30pm followed by a unique double-date dinner hosted from 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Day 03: Saturday
Couples seek their own breakfast then meet the Partridge’s at the recreation location from 9:30am-12:00pm. After, couples can quickly refresh in their room and rejoin Dale and Veronica for a double-date lunch and coaching session #03 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
Day 04: Sunday
For those couples whose schedule permits and are interested, are welcome to attend Dale and Veronica’s house church from 10:00am-2:00pm.
Who is the ideal couple for a one-on-one marriage weekend?
Due to the price of the event, couples who generally book a One-on-One Marriage Weekend are Christian couples who are high-performance business professionals or ministry leaders who may need help balancing out or refocusing on their marriage and family life with the demands of their career. However, we have hosted school teachers, entrepreneurs, musicians, celebrities, electricians, and artists. Additionally, our marriage weekends are not for catastrophic marriages in need of emergency help. Ideal couples would rate the health of their marriage between 6-10 on a scale of ten.
What airport will we need to fly into?
The retreat venue is approximately 30 minutes from RDM (Redmond, Oregon) and we suggest your flights land and depart here. However, you can also fly into PDX and take a beautiful 3.5 hour drive to the retreat venue.
Will we need to rent a car to get to the venue?
Since the retreat venue is approximately 30-minutes from the airport, a taxi or Uber is almost the same price as renting a car. It’s your choice, but if we had to choose, we would rent a car 🙂
Are engaged couples allowed to attend this event?
Due to the nature of our curriculum, this event is for married couples only.
Do you offer refunds or cancellations?
Due to the nature of this endeavor, events with small quantities of people are hard to make refunds work. So our standard policy is no refunds offered on deposits or payments. Now, if there is an emergency or you were completely unsatisfied with your marriage weekend, we are open to discussing alternative options on a case-by-case basis.
